Circular Action Alliance (CAA) is participating in Closed Loop Partners’ Reuse Cities^TM Initiative to help implement and scale reuse systems for packaging in California.

Led by the NextGen Consortium, managed by Closed Loop Partners’ innovation center, the Closed Loop Center for the Circular Economy, the Reuse Cities^TM Initiative is a forthcoming multi-brand and cross-sector effort to scale reusable packaging systems in U.S. cities. Starting in Southern California, the regional program will advance in-market readiness for reuse solutions, building reuse behaviors with consumers and reducing the costs of reuse for businesses seeking to comply with statewide packaging regulations. The Closed Loop Center is continuing to grow the initiative in collaboration with national brands, cultural venues and local businesses.

CAA’s participation in our Reuse Cities^TM initiative is a key step in our work to drive greater adoption of reuse in California, improve the operational efficiency of reuse and make reuse a new reality for millions of people. Insights from this work will help shape the future of reuse in California and beyond.
